Well it took me long enough right???? This week has been a mess and transfers was even more a mess than usual. Yesterday was spent mostly getting things moved and then I spent all night getting unpacked. It was kind of fun to have been awake for like 2 days and then get some sleep. I slept like a baby and it was so nice. I cant tell you how nice it was. Well I'm now in North Tucson in a ward called Countryside ward and... its definately not the Gila Valley or Sierra Vista. It is nice to just be able to be back for the time being. Its been a real adventure in just 2 days.
I left Safford with an open heart and mind. My heart has been opened to the people and my mind has been opened to the Lord. I was reading in Numbers this week and I was studying chapeters 10-12 when I ran on to a thought that I really want to share. I was reading about the people who were in the wilderness and how they were so tired of mana that they started to murmur to the lord. He decides to send meat. If you get a chance this week read about what happens and see if you can understand what bit of revelation that I found or just find your own revelation.
Well everyone, Have an excellent week and stay happy!!!!

Arizona is well... still here. Despite my obsessive want to watch it just burn up.... I'm just kidding!!! This week has been interesting... in more than one way... so first off, I want to share with you something that I learned in Numbers. As I was reading chapter 10, I noticed that even then they had alarms.... well I guess alarm clocks aren't so bad. My destructive bone was a little achy for something to watch go boom or just poof, gone... I really wanted to take a bat to our alarm clock the other day cause I was tired of getting up at 6:30 every blasted morning. Well I guess that won't happen. I've been really wanting to burn something. Maybe I just will. I have yet to burn a shirt so that should do it. I really just need a good service project.... That should really let me take some anger out on something.
So... thought for this week: Why do we do missionary work? Not just us missionaries but as members. We are asked to do missionary work everyday. So, WHY? Don't forget that there is great power in doing what our Heavenly Father asks of us. We can see his hand in our lives everyday if we so wish it to be. All we must do is have a desire and then let that work in us until we come to a faith or a knowledge. Either one will do when it comes to the gospel. They may not be the same thing but they are both good. I hope that all is well!!
Have an excellent week!

All is well here in Safford. There isn't much that has been going on, but we did have a baptism on Saturday for a nine year old girl. She is super sweet. We really didn't do much more than just teach her the lessons. It was fun to just get the chance to teach her the gospel. The last couple of weeks have been really slow as far as missionary work goes. We picked up a new investigator on Saturday as well. We had gone to dinner and were riding our bikes home when a man stopped us and asked if we were the missionaries. Of course we said yes. We took a moment and found out where he lives and his name and things like that. It was really cool to just be out and about and find someone. I was thinking about some of the crazy things that have happened to find people to teach. Things like doing crossfit, yoga, shopping, emailing, and everything else that goes on in your average day. Its interesting to see the people who want to learn the gospel versus those who just hear it and move on their way. There is something about the sparkle in their eyes that makes it all worth it. My companion and I were talking about how long its been since we went really tracting and my companion pointed out that he has never been tracting. I thought about it and its been 8 months or better since I went tracting. That tells me that its still possible to find and teach people the gospel even without knocking doors.
Remember to share the gospel with someone you know and love. Be courageous. That is how we get over the fear of doing something. There is always someone who you can talk to. Have an excellent week and don't forget who loves you!!!

I apologize for not sending a letter last week, things got busy and things got off track and I just didn't get it done. Things here in the Gila Valley are good. I'm finally over a year on the mission so woohoo... a year left. Its nice to know that I don't have more than a year left. I feel like this has all come to a point where I feel like I know what I'm finally doing and I am getting to the point where I can make the work accelerate as Heavenly Father wants it. I will admit... don't look forward to a longer weekly letter. I suck at summarizing what is going on. There really isn't anything big that happens each day... well not to me. Its kind of like normal life. When something big happens, its normal to those of us who are there all the time. Its a whole other story when it comes to those of us who know nothing about what is happening. If you want to know, its normal missionary work happening. The best way to know what I am doing is to go out there and invite your less active and non member friends to come to church, to listen to the missionaries, or read the Book of Mormon. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone grow in the spirit and grow closer to their Heavenly Father. When someone uses their agency to come closer to Him, then we really see the beauty of the things in life that we want to see everyday.
This week has really opened my eyes to some things and have continued to enlighten me in other things. I know that this is the true church of God. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Christ and that He lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that His Spirit lives in each of us as we follow the teachings not only of the prophets but, of the scriptures as well, we will find a greater love for each of our Fathers children and we will want for them what we have as members of the church. Thank you for each of your support. You have been to kind to me and to those around me. I love you all tons.

Well its transfers week for me again, except I'm not going anywhere. My new companion is going to be Elder Collins. He is a really cool kid. I served around him in Sierra Vista when I was in the Hereford ward.... Wow... it seems so long ago that I was there. Its been 6 weeks and yet it seems like forever.
So this week I was thinking about what to write for my email and Then Heavenly Father presented me with a story to write about. I was sitting at my apartment after a long day and I got a call from the Wiebelhaus', in west Tucson. If you don't remember this is my 1st convert and her husband and then their daughter claims me and elder Reese as her missionaries. Anyway, he called me and said that they are coming down to Safford to a cabin that they have here and they wanted to come see us. After that happened the story just kind of developed. They came over and Reese and I spent some time talking to them. It was nice to just get to see them before Elder Reese comes home in 2 days. Its crazy to think that I knew him before, and I came out when he was just over a year, and now I will see him go home. He was an awesome companion and is a great missionary. As time went on we parted ways but it was so good to see them and see the love that not only they have for him but the love that he has for them. It confirmed to my heart at that moment that families are not only eternal, but they can also soften, and bring great peace to a soul yearning for love and for a connection that some may not see. I also had confirmed to my heart that when we make choices, we also sometimes choose family and when we choose wisely, we find that we love them as much, and sometimes more than our actual families. Friends can become more than that. We begin to see the pure love that Christ had for each of us. Its days like that, which make a mission worth it.
I know that families can be together forever through the divine plan that our Heavenly Father and his Son, not only put into place but sacrificed everything for so that we could also come to take part in the beautiful blessings that we are given. Each day can be what we choose it to be.
Love you all!!!

I have an interesting story for you all this week. We were at our Christmas conference and President Killpack gave the whole mission a Christmas gift... sort of. Our gift was to leave our mission and go to Phoenix and listen to Elder Holland speak to all of the missionaries. The sort of part is that the mission had to give up 150 miles for each vehicle. well the 150 miles really doesn't bother me but after about a week we got some news about the speaker. Elder Holland wasn't able to make it. His schedule changed. Although it kinda made the whole trip not super worth it, I was thinking about the other speaker and the Spirit whispered to me and my thoughts changed. It really didn't matter who the speaker was as long as he prayerfully prepared for the conference. If he did that then the message is the same. It won't matter if its Elder Holland or President Killpack, it would be the same. Not only that but I got to leave my mission with the mission Presidents permission. I can officially say that I got to leave my mission on my mission. It was awesome. Now, here's an interesting fact for you. When we got to Phoenix, and we got off the bus we all kind of had a sigh of relief. The sun wasn't nearly as intense there as it was here in the Gila Valley or anywhere I've been. Its almost completely different. I think almost all of us noticed it too. It's really weird but true.....
The talk was by Elder Wright of the 70 and it was really good. I think I learned more from the movies of Ephriam's rescue and 17 miracles than I did from the talk though. It was cool.
Well everyone, The week was really good. I hope things are really good
Love you all!

Now that Christmas is over, missionary work is beginning to pick up again. Things are going really good right now. We have several new investigators who seem really solid. All of them have shown real interest in the gosple and they have a real love for it.
Thank you all for the Christmas cards and boxes. If you haven't recieved a letter that I have your box, don't worry I will send one to you. Thank you all for your support not only during Christmas but during the course of my mission as well.
This week I wanted to focus on what the new year brings and some of the challenges that we face. First off, I wanted to share what I have seen all my life and what we will probably continue to see happen at the New Year. Our New Years resolutions. When the beginning of the year comes, we all want to set goals and have something that we want to work better each day, month and year on. Lets take a step back and think for a moment before we do just that. Goals are good to have. They help us to accomplish things that we want to do, however, we need to create a VISION of what we want to be, either where, who, or what. If you can see it you can be it. Its important to have that vision. Now, goals are what? Steps right? like a staircase, each goal is another step. Our vision is to reach the top of that stair case. Each goal needs to be smart. SMART- that stands for Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. After you have set these goals, then go forward and work toward your vision!!!!
I hope you all have a wonderful year and I hope you had a Merry Christmas!!!

Life is great here in Arizona where there is no white Christmas.... all I can do is dream.... anyway things are really going well. I'm so excited to talk to the family this week.
I have been thinking about what Christmas really is and I want to share what came to mind. I was singing with the ward as we went around to others and it was interesting to sing to those around you. As we were singing, I realized that Christmas was so important in that we make sure to remember whose birth we are celebrating. We can get caught up in the things that Christmas has become but I challenge you to take time make your own traditions this Christmas and bring your family together. I Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Well I'm now here in The Ghila Valley. Things have been crazy here in the area. I'm really beginning to enjoy the area. There is a lot of work for us to do which is nice. Its a big change from the last area. Its nice to really have someone here to really teach. I'm on a bike now and I'm so happy. I love being in a bike area. Its so awesome. For some reason, as long as you have really ridden around it really doesn't matter sometimes if there has been any work cause you are still so tired at the end of the day that you feel content. Thank you bicycle for the work out!
So I was thinking about what to write to you all about this week and nothing was coming to mind until Sunday. When Sunday came along, I was sitting in sacrament meeting and suddenly we received a text from the bishopric.... of all people... the bishopric.... Anyway, They asked me to share my testimony and introduce myself because we had some time left over. That kind of thing will really make your heart race. Its so much... fun?....
well beyond that... Have an awesome week!!!!!!!!!
Love you all!!!!

Things here are good. I did get transfered. Things are really going well. Things here are slow but I think with a change in area and a change in companions, things will be really good. I hear that there has been a lot of snow in the recent days and weeks! Heavenly Father thinks of us. I remember all those years of fasting for rain and all the years of things like that. This may be your payout. God blesses us the most when we need it the most. We may not realize it now but it's true. Its good to be in an area where there are more members. I really haven't met anyone yet but you will be suprised to know who all is in my district.
My new companion's name is Elder Huff. I really don't know much about him yet but I do know that he is quite the person. He's much like my first companion so far. Quiet but knows what he's doing. Very aware of the things around him and not a lick of shallow to him. Also in my district is Elder Field. Yes the very same Elder Field who I grew up with and know and love so much.
Well. I know that this is a short letter but, there isn't much time this week. I love you all! Have an amazing week!!!

Things are have gone really well this week. Its been nice to just hang back a little with Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was awesome. We had a turkey bowl and played a little soccer. We ate one dinner and that was it. Life is really good for now. Its getting closer to transfers and I have no idea what is going to happen although I will say that I've really enjoyed the ward here. It will be nice to move and go to another ward but it would be really great to stay through Christmas too.
Speaking of Christmas, I was thinking about Christ and his example to us. This Thanksgiving it was brought to my attention the history of Thanksgiving. I was interested to learn that the first Thanksgiving previous to the meal we all know that happened, they took a day of fasting and prayer. So, after learning that, I took the chance to do just that.
Fasting and prayer can teach so much and there is nothing more fulfilling than fasting and receiving an answer to something you've been praying about for some time. Think about all of the things that Christ has given to you and blessed you with. Then give thanks to your Heavenly Father for all that He and His Son have given you. I challenge you to do and see what happens. When you are done, report to HIM!
Love you all!!

So this week has been interesting. We had a stake conference which was pretty good. I am pretty happy with what they spoke about. This is the first stake conference that has been dictated to us through the 12 as to what to speak on and train on specifically. Its missionary work. ARE YOU INVITING? I know that there is a lot to it but I really do want you to remember, when we invite, we succeed. That is all that it takes. Returned Missionaries, do you want to feel that spirit again? The way to do it is to invite others. That is what it takes.
Well, I wish I could tell you more about the stake conference but I really don't know what to tell you.
I'm doing really well. The people here are amazing and they are so much fun to work with. I hope you all are doing well! keep up the good work and please, KEEP THE FAITH!!!
Love you all!!

The week was ok. There was one thing that really made this week great. Well ok, two things... so here they are. During the week I was doing some studies and I was reading in Jacob about the 4 visits to Lords vineyard, and I came across some interesting things that happen in the vineyard. In the first three visits the Lord goes into the vineyard and he sees his olive trees. The mother tree or main tree talked about is withering and dying, then because of his love and concern for the tree, it comes back to life and bears good fruit. There are several other things that happen but I want you to go and read about what happens. Here's the interesting thing. Look where the Lord puts the grafts. The kind of soil that He plants them in He specifically talks about. Look at what is said. Why does the Lord of the Vineyard plant them in those types of soil? What do we learn from all of this? How can we apply this to our lives?
Ok so the other thing that happened this week was on Saturday. The elders quorum went shooting this weekend and I have some amazing pictures of what they were shooting. As missionaries we couldn't shoot but I took pictures of the firearms and boy are they awesome. I wanted so badly to shoot a couple of the fire arms but I thought you may enjoy the pictures. They will probably be posted closer to Christmas because I am sending them home. There were some seriously FUN guns there. It was nice to be able to see a quorum come together and really have a good time and bring some non and less active members to this. There was a couple of members that actually came to church on Sunday too.
Remember that the Lord loves you and needs your help. Please invite your friends to activities and keep up with home and visiting teaching. Those things are so important.
Love you all and have a great week!!!

Well where to begin.... Monday last week we went to a cave for P-day... got some good pictures there, Tuesday was interesting... Some missionaries from another ward sent us to go and meet a less active family, so we did. They were super receptive about everything which was awesome. We didn't get to stay long but it was nice to be able to just talk for a bit and see what all we could do to help them. Wednesday was filled with almost nothing but service, which I absolutely loved. We also spent Friday doing the same thing. It was nice to finally get my hands dirty again and be able to see the interior of an engine. Thursday was mostly just a day of trying to see people and find someone to teach. Now... Saturday was awesome. We spent most of the morning trying to create lessons out of our ward mission plan here in the Hereford ward. It was really fun. We found a lot of scriptures that went along with what the ward wanted to see happen through their mission plan.
This week there was a lot that happened. I want to point out however that during my studies I saw how much it takes to depend on the lord. We need to depend on Him in all things of great and of small importance. When we make decisions that can strengthen us or guide us spiritually, we need Him on our side. When we make decisions that pertain to our salvation. We need Him. Don't forget that we have the promise that if we take the time each and every day to pray and let our Heavenly Father know what we are going to do and what we want to accomplish that day, He will help us and we will soar far beyond what we thought we could.
Have an amazing week and don't forget GOD LOVES YOU!!!!

Well its been an excellent week. Not a whole lot happened but its been good. I had the new experience of a holiday away from home... That was interesting. There really isn't much that happens when you are told that you have to be in your apartment by 6:00pm.... it really can drag on a good night. Although I must say.... I did get a lot of sleep that night. It was great. As always there is something going on but I thought I might introduce you to edification this week. Take some time and think about it. There is much to be said about what edifying is and what can be accomplished by and through it. I know that I didn't expound on it much but I want you to go and see what its all about. We edify every day if we have the spirit with us in what we do and say.... now, think about that and see what you come up with.
I love you all!

Hey there everyone!
Its been an interesting week, it was transfers today and that means that either I move or I don't. Well I don't. So here is the scoop on the week:
This week has been a struggle. One of my most beloved missionaries is going home. I really got to enjoy the transfer with him. He wasn't my companion but he became one of my best friends. The week progressed pretty slowly but it was nice to really get a chance to just think. On Wednesday we were helping some missionaries move one of the members out of their home and it was nice to help. We took all morning and we ended up missing our district meeting but we were at a district meeting (and if you don't know they all train on the same thing each week), I was able to see the difference in a prepared leader and an unprepared leader... thank heavens for having been trained on being prepared all these years. In the last couple of days the same thing again has happened. Transfers were here and I wondered what would happen. I began preparing for transfers about Saturday night around 9:30pm after the day was over. I ended up staying up all night putting things together and getting rid of things I didn't need or hadn't used and decided that anything that I needed was what I was going to keep. On sunday after transfer calls, I knew I wasn't leaving so I decided that I would continue to make sure I had everything that was pertinent and everything else could go. To a point this is also true of the gospel. In the gospel, sometimes we get caught up in the things that don't matter. We "collect" them per-say. When we de-clutter our knowledge of the gospel, we do the things that we know we are supposed to do. This means READING our scriptures, SAYING our prayers and GOING to church. Remember, faith without works is dead. Each of these things show our faith. Each of these things shows our Heavenly Father that we know He lives and it also shows Him that we are willing to receive help when we need it.
I hope that the week went well for everyone!!! I love you all!!!!

Well its been a good week. There really isn't much going on but I've found out something new. For years I have wondered why missionaries always want to go back to their missions. I now understand. I realize that loving the people is a major part but I didn't realize that the biggest part is the friends that you meet. Yeah, the converts you have are super important but the friends you make not only in them but in all parts of missionary life have become that much better. I have some deep relationships at home, I now have family here too. That I think is what really makes the mission worth it to stay (in part). There is a depth I never thought was possible. I guess that 's what Heavenly Father does for us. He just makes sure that you have everything you need to succeed. Thank you friends and family supporting me. It really is a blessing.!
Love,
Elder Klynton FrederickLeslie's Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11818481266114358701noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555301660907278393.post-70111789741929117362013-10-15T12:59:00.000-07:002013-10-15T12:59:07.412-07:00October Week 2OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!
Well for the first time in all my born days I've finally felt what my mom and my brother call cold. I was in my apartment last night and it was a little warm... higher than comfortable and lower than hot.... then I looked at the thermometer and it was an astonishing 85 FREAKIN DEGREES!!!!! I thought to myself... Self... you are finally broken. Hot is now warm and cold is.... cold... I got up this morning and decided to work out. when I got out of bed, I thought.... its cold and I really need a jacket... I went in and looked at the thermometer again... I WAS COLD AT 50 DEGREES... it was that moment that I decided that I'm never moving out of anywhere cold. I like the cold.... INFACT, I love the cold.... but when cold is 50 degrees... that is wrong. So... I'm sorry mom and brother that I ever chastised you about being cold at the high temperatures of 50 - 70 degrees... I have come to realize your pain.... never again will I take the cold for granted. To gram as well..... Never thought I'd figure out why you always kept your house at 80 or so... and now I understand... almost perfectly... Aunt Molly... GET YOUR MOTHER A BLANKET... SHE'S GOING TO FREEZE TO DEATH!!!!! I love you!
Well as for a good story for the week. I have come to realize that God has done an excellent job of teaching me. There is so much to learn and there is so little time. In my personal studies this week I was thinking about my mission and how I've had the perspective of :"I'm doing this because its right." Then a thought came to my mind.... I love doing things for other people. I love being able to take the time and go out of my way at what ever cost to me and help, simply because I love to see their smiling faces. I now have come to the understanding that not only am I taking two years to go out of my way to help as many as I can, but I get to go out of my way at home and so can you, to help your fellow brothers and sisters. I will always think of this gospel as taking the time to help someone and I can't believe that I get to be a part of the joy that it brings to others lives.
Hope you all have an excellent week! Get out there and do some MISSIONARY WORK!!!
Love you all!!!

Well its another week gone and another day here. This week has really been a slow one and there hasn't been much to tell about. General Conference was awesome and it really inspired me to recommit myself to my mission and to doing what God has asked of us.
During conference, There was a talk given by none other than our dear prophet and president, Thomas S. Monson. His talk was truly inspiring and driving. He gave us a challenge, did you catch it? His challenge to us is to invite ONE person to church by Christmas. Well I put it now to you. I dare you to PRAY for someone who you know who is less active or a non member. Remember, its not weather they make and keep that commitment that makes you successful its weather you extend that invite or not. SO, PRAY for someone and pray for them to say "No" and see what happens. Then do it again. As members we are the missionaries. We want to do what makes us happy right? I promise that if you do this 2 part process, pray for someone and then ask them, the lord will bless you so much that you will have no way to see them all. Don't just invite one person either, Invite everyone you know who may need some help or someone whose help YOU could use! There is a powerful book called "The Power of the Everyday Missionary" by Clayton M. Christensen. Read it. It can help you improve so much in your daily life with things you are working on and it will most assuredly help with your missionary work.
Love you all! have an excellent week!!!

Its another week in the beautifully.... ok becoming increasingly less green state of AZ. There is one thing I thought I'd never say... I own more as a missionary than I think I ever will at home. This week I was going through my things making sure that when I leave the area (eventually) I don't have so much stuff that I can't transfer it all. Well I realized something. I am now the proud owner of one acoustic/electric guitar, one ukulele, and a tortoise... where did it all come from? Eh well I guess it will just have to go with me. I cant get rid of any of my paper items... They all seem to be super important... its odd but that's how it is... nonetheless... Story of the week....
I was asked by my recent convert why we don't go door to door knocking and I responded with this question. "3 years ago, before you were investigating the church, would you have opened your door to two young men in white shirts and ties and said 'Hi, we are missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and we would like to share a message with you about Christ.' Would you have opened your door?" He responded exactly as I knew he would and he didn't think about, which was "No.". My response to him is the same to everyone of my friends. Take some time to think about this. Your less active and non member friends are the ones who you want to be with for eternity right? those relationships are things we all want to continue in the next life.... So... INVITE your friends. The only way they will ever see that the church is true is by YOUR invitation. Please don't let them "fall by the wayside". Give them the chance to see and come to know of the truth.
I know you all love those around you. Please show them how much!!!
Take care this week and invite your friends. They may surprise you.
Love you all!

What a week... So I had some experience in the last few weeks that has really changed my outlook on life. There has been a lot of things happen that have been good and bad.... So to all you missionaries out there (which should be all of you, we are member missionaries after all), don't have a camp/bon fire on your mission! You tend to get in trouble for things like that...... no need to go into detail just don't do it!!!!!! another thing.... Please keep a book of Mormon handy at all times. If not that then keep a few pass along cards handy. Continue to read the book of Mormon. I was at a dinner appointment last night and I bore a testimony of the book of Mormon I didn't know I had. There are some amazing things that go into the book. I truly know that The Book of Mormon was translated by Joseph Smith and that its record of the people in it is something that is truly worth the time it takes to read it and gain a testimony of. There is no other book that can bring you closer to your Heavenly Father than that and by abiding by its precepts.... Joseph Smith said that and I completely agree with him. Remember that The Book of Mormon is the keystone to our religion and by reading it and really praying about it can you gain a testimony that will never fail you.
Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Well it was transfers yesterday and I thought I may as well tell you, I have a new companion. His name is Elder Sean Murphy. He is really a cool guy. We have a lot of the same taste in things... Its quite nice. Well unfortunately there isn't much going on here in Hererford. We have a couple of possible investigators but nothing really solid. So there is a verse of scripture that I was studying about and if you have a chance, check it out. its Alma 46. There is a lot to be said about Captain Moroni. He is an amazing man and really worth reading about. Take some time to really think about what he says through out this chapter.
Well everything is still hot and gooey.... Take care this week and think about Moroni's example to us all.

This week has been really good, Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday! I love you all miss you all!!!
Well for this week there isn't much to tell.... as usual. Our investigator became a recent convert and now holds the priesthood. He is doing awesome and a very solid member.
Gospel according to Elder Frederick for the week:
There is a reason that we are taught to study the scriptures. When all else fails who do we generally go to in the home for support? Well it depends on the support we need, doesn't it? Well, where do we turn for support when no one can give us the answer we need? Heavenly Father. I was reading in 3 Nephi 13 and found some verses that really made me stop and think for a moment. Jesus Christ is teaching us about prayer and he also teaches something very profound. He recounts "The Lords Prayer" from the bible and teaches us that we need to pray. He also teaches us how we pray. Take some time to read 3 Nephi 13 and see what you can learn for yourself.
Hope all is well!!

This week has been amazing. There have been some ups and downs but I want to concentrate on the up. On Saturday the 31st of August....Cant believe we're in august... already..... Mr. B was baptized by a friend of his that he's known for years. Wow... I don't even remember if I told you all about this one... Guess you'll just have to ask me in about 17 months.... hah... wow... anyway... so Mr. B got baptized and confirmed and... my goodness he had an amazing confirmation blessing. Probably one of the best I've heard. Things are going well here. Just living life and moving along!!! There isn't much to tell otherwise!!!
Remember that Heavenly Father is always there for us. Even when we don't think He is. There is so much bad in this world and there really is no way we can withstand it with out his help. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church and the Book of Mormon is the keystone to all we hold dear.
Hope you all have a great week!!
Love you all!

So this week has been interesting! On Thursday my companion and I went to the library to make programs for our investigators upcoming baptism!!! When we got there we no more than walked through the first set of two doors to get in and a man stopped us and talked to us for a bit. While we were talking, He asked us if we were hungry, and then he said "you'd better be cause you and I are going to dinner." he ended up taking us to Ihop where we later learned that he was a less active member for his own reasons and that he worked for border patrol and some other small talk. We finally got into a conversation where we talked about some really cool times he'd had in his life. Even cooler, he knew where Manti was. He said that he loves the temple there and he loves the area. It was fun to talk to him. During the morning we were asked to go and do a service project for a member and it all worked in perfectly. We helped him until it started raining (yay!!) and then we went and helped a family move in after the 20 minute or so rain... it was really cool to get to know the family and they are less active so we get to go and teach them as well. Its nice to be able to finally see some work come into play! Well, I can't tell you how grateful I am for obeying rules sometimes. They really can bless the lives of those people around you. I love to see all of the work here and the progression people are making. Well that's all for now!!!
Hope everyone has a great week!!!
Love,
