June Week 4
Hey there!
Well its transfers today so my letter is a day late.... Things are good here in the wonderful state of Arizona and in the wonderful city of Tucson! This will make 4 and 1/2 months I have been out and wow.... the time has really soared by.... it feels like yesterday it was transfers.... I feel like things are finally getting easier and easier...
So, story of the week... as of late we have had 6 investigators and they all were pretty solid until about wednesday... one of them dropped us and we felt terrible.... However that is not what I want to dwell on this week. There is so much work going on and because of all the work President is splitting my area! Its pretty cool to be a part of something coming alive! So, one of my companions went home this week and I am getting a new one. I am staying with Elder Horner who is still waiting on his visa to Brazil. He has really been a hard worker. I have learned quite a bit about the gospel from my other companion who went home (Elder Kennington). He is an amazing man and I really hope that he does well in life. My new companions name is Elder Call. He sounds like a very good and interesting person.
Since I have been here for nearly 6 months now, we started CrossFit and yoga!!!!!!! Oh my goodness its awesome! We have had classes since like the second week Elder Kennington and Elder Horner were here and its been so much fun! we literally do like 45 minutes of stretching and practicing lifts and things for it but then, there is a 10 minute workout and you are completely DEAD by the time that its over! Oh my goodness it feels good! you may be sore for a couple of days after but you can sure tell that you worked out... it kinda feels like you are doing tobotta (?) I think thats how you spell it... never checked.... dont know... anyway... I met some new Elders and Sisters from Utah that I knew and it was interesting today.... I felt a little bit like the world was getting smaller... oh well....
Well there is the two real things that I can tell you happened and were fun..... Not much else happens but missionary work!
Love you all!

June Week 3
Hey there, so there really isn't a lot to tell about this week... the days have been pretty normal as far as life not on a mission goes just more rules so i guess to a point its different... but there is only one problem... I was looking for a spiritual experience to share this week and I don't have one. I really don't know what to tell anyone so there won't be an email this week. Love, Elder Klynton Frederick

June Week 2
Hey everyone!
Things this week are a real mess! you know that god works in mysterious ways when cool stuff starts happening... Honestly not a lot happened this week worth really telling but I want to give you alll some thoughts on missionary work. I'm sure by now that the missionary broadcast has been announced in church and that you (should) are all planning on attending. I want to speak directly for a moment to the missionarys who are leaving and those who don't really know if they want to go and also those who have not yet read the book of Mormon all the way through. First, To those who have been thinking about going on a mission, I say to you, GO. The lord has need of your services and if you are willing he will recieve you. Although you may be aprehensive, there are more good things that willl come from missionary work than you can believe. Take the time to really make your decision. Next, to those of you with a mission call. Serve with all your heart, might, mind, and soul. You will thank yourself for doing so. Build your testimony in the Book of Mormon. That book, as said by the prophet Joseph Smith will bring you closer to god by abiding by its precepts than any other book. I challenge you to read it every day. I know I wish I would have before I left. There is more to it than any of us really know I believe. For now to those who have not read the Book of Mormon, take the time. It is hard, I will not lie, but know that it is worth every moment. God will open the windows of heaven as you read, ponder and pray about it. I wish you all the best.
With all my love,
Elder Klynton Frederick

June Week 1
Well hello there!
Its officially june which means that I have been on a mission 4 months and going into month 5.... Wow... it seems like forever ago that I was at home...so for the last week of may and now the beginning of june I had one heck of a spiritual week. For starters.... for those of my scout friends watching and reading this. I had a vigil moment this last week. I honestly can't tell you what its like to have an almost vigil experience on a mission. Its one spiritual joy ride and it seems like it can never get any better. I spent tuesday night awake.... for what ever reason (which NEVER happens to me) I couldn't sleep worth a darn. There was so much swimming around in my head that I didn't know what to do. First thing I did was got on my knees and prayed. I probably prayed for an hour before I really began to find what was in my heart. For those of you who have been through the Vigil Ceremony, You remember what the spirit felt like during that time when you felt you could not go on any longer and for some reason you did. Well I am here to tell you, if you didn't feel that spirit there, FIND IT. We were put on this earth to be tested. We cannont learn unless we make mistakes. Now to tie all of those statements together...There is a purpose in life. God being our loving heavenly father sent us here in families to learn and grow. We make mistakes, that is why Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. With out that atonement, that eternal sacrifice as described in 2 nephi 2, and many other places, we would not be saved. The plan of Salvation tells us where we are going. We need to decide where we want to go after that. Personally I want to go to the highest degree of the celestial kingdom. During my prayers that night I began to understand what it means to ponder and to pray unceasingly. Our heavenly father can only bless us when we do what is right and when we do what he asks of us. Please.... I plead with you, BECOME MORE CONVERTED TO HIS GOSPEL. I love you all. Please read the Book of Mormon if you haven't. Only by that book can you know of a surity in your hearts and minds that it is the truth. Remember that you must ponder and pray.... and then LISTEN.... I suck at that part but I did it, and I know.
I love you all have a great week! thank you for all the support!
