December Week 3

HEY EVERYONE!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! Life is great here in Arizona where there is no white Christmas.... all I can do is dream.... anyway things are really going well. I'm so excited to talk to the family this week. I have been thinking about what Christmas really is and I want to share what came to mind. I was singing with the ward as we went around to others and it was interesting to sing to those around you. As we were singing, I realized that Christmas was so important in that we make sure to remember whose birth we are celebrating. We can get caught up in the things that Christmas has become but I challenge you to take time make your own traditions this Christmas and bring your family together. I Hope you all have a Merry Christmas! Elder Klynton Frederick

December Week 3

Hey everyone! Well I'm now here in The Ghila Valley. Things have been crazy here in the area. I'm really beginning to enjoy the area. There is a lot of work for us to do which is nice. Its a big change from the last area. Its nice to really have someone here to really teach. I'm on a bike now and I'm so happy. I love being in a bike area. Its so awesome. For some reason, as long as you have really ridden around it really doesn't matter sometimes if there has been any work cause you are still so tired at the end of the day that you feel content. Thank you bicycle for the work out! So I was thinking about what to write to you all about this week and nothing was coming to mind until Sunday. When Sunday came along, I was sitting in sacrament meeting and suddenly we received a text from the bishopric.... of all people... the bishopric.... Anyway, They asked me to share my testimony and introduce myself because we had some time left over. That kind of thing will really make your heart race. Its so much... fun?.... well beyond that... Have an awesome week!!!!!!!!! Love you all!!!! Elder Klynton Frederick

December Week 2

Hey everyone! Things here are good. I did get transfered. Things are really going well. Things here are slow but I think with a change in area and a change in companions, things will be really good. I hear that there has been a lot of snow in the recent days and weeks! Heavenly Father thinks of us. I remember all those years of fasting for rain and all the years of things like that. This may be your payout. God blesses us the most when we need it the most. We may not realize it now but it's true. Its good to be in an area where there are more members. I really haven't met anyone yet but you will be suprised to know who all is in my district. My new companion's name is Elder Huff. I really don't know much about him yet but I do know that he is quite the person. He's much like my first companion so far. Quiet but knows what he's doing. Very aware of the things around him and not a lick of shallow to him. Also in my district is Elder Field. Yes the very same Elder Field who I grew up with and know and love so much. Well. I know that this is a short letter but, there isn't much time this week. I love you all! Have an amazing week!!! Elder Klynton Frederick

December Week 1

Hey everyone!! Things are have gone really well this week. Its been nice to just hang back a little with Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was awesome. We had a turkey bowl and played a little soccer. We ate one dinner and that was it. Life is really good for now. Its getting closer to transfers and I have no idea what is going to happen although I will say that I've really enjoyed the ward here. It will be nice to move and go to another ward but it would be really great to stay through Christmas too. Speaking of Christmas, I was thinking about Christ and his example to us. This Thanksgiving it was brought to my attention the history of Thanksgiving. I was interested to learn that the first Thanksgiving previous to the meal we all know that happened, they took a day of fasting and prayer. So, after learning that, I took the chance to do just that. Fasting and prayer can teach so much and there is nothing more fulfilling than fasting and receiving an answer to something you've been praying about for some time. Think about all of the things that Christ has given to you and blessed you with. Then give thanks to your Heavenly Father for all that He and His Son have given you. I challenge you to do and see what happens. When you are done, report to HIM! Love you all!! Elder Klynton Frederick
