November Week 3
Hey everyone!!!!
The week was ok. There was one thing that really made this week great. Well ok, two things... so here they are. During the week I was doing some studies and I was reading in Jacob about the 4 visits to Lords vineyard, and I came across some interesting things that happen in the vineyard. In the first three visits the Lord goes into the vineyard and he sees his olive trees. The mother tree or main tree talked about is withering and dying, then because of his love and concern for the tree, it comes back to life and bears good fruit. There are several other things that happen but I want you to go and read about what happens. Here's the interesting thing. Look where the Lord puts the grafts. The kind of soil that He plants them in He specifically talks about. Look at what is said. Why does the Lord of the Vineyard plant them in those types of soil? What do we learn from all of this? How can we apply this to our lives?
Ok so the other thing that happened this week was on Saturday. The elders quorum went shooting this weekend and I have some amazing pictures of what they were shooting. As missionaries we couldn't shoot but I took pictures of the firearms and boy are they awesome. I wanted so badly to shoot a couple of the fire arms but I thought you may enjoy the pictures. They will probably be posted closer to Christmas because I am sending them home. There were some seriously FUN guns there. It was nice to be able to see a quorum come together and really have a good time and bring some non and less active members to this. There was a couple of members that actually came to church on Sunday too.
Remember that the Lord loves you and needs your help. Please invite your friends to activities and keep up with home and visiting teaching. Those things are so important.
Love you all and have a great week!!!
